Did any of you guys start as kayakers? how were you?

Most of us did some kayaking in our youth. Mark probably did the most, and did start in a kayak. He continued all through bantam doing both, winning numerous Cloverleaf medals and Provincial titles. As a midget he came 4th at Nationals in K4 with good friend Adam van Koeverden, fellow Curitiba blood brother Adam Klevinas, and his cousin Brant Oldershaw.

Also, most C4Cers are still pretty handy in a kayak, and try to get out a couple times a month, especially in Florida, just to keep the mens kayakers on their toes.
