Hello everyone,
It was a really windy and wavy first day at the World Championships here in Poznan. Andrew and I had two pretty solid performances in our C-2 1000m heat and semi final and we qualified for the big dance on Saturday. I was really happy with the way we handled the waves and I must say Andrew kept it really solid up front.
Physically I feel in great shape thanks to Bernie Irvin for his expert treatments and one of a kind entertainment.
Hello everyone,
Today Andrew and I raced the first day of our first regatta here in Szeged. Our heat and semi final in the 1000m were really good efforts and we clinched our spot for the A final tomorrow. My general feeling about today is good. I still feel a little bit the effect of the travel and I’m hoping that today’s races helped me wake up for tomorrow. I’m really excited about throwing down a really good 1000m. I will give my absolute best to make this boat go straight and fast!
Goodnight.
Bonjour à tous,
Hello everyone,
Did anyone else left on Sunday feeling they had forgotten something? I thought I left my paddle there maybe, or I didn’t tie my boat properly on the trailer.. Nah.. that’s not it… Oh I got it! I forgot to race the 500m events! Wait… there is no more of this for men, I find it sad.
Dear C4C readers,
Thanks for your patience and understanding. Usually the spring is when the ‘return to reality’ expression really finds its meaning. This has been true especially this year as I had to catch up with my 4 classes as soon as I got back from Florida. Now that everything is done, I think it’s been my best transition period of the past couple years. I kept myself on top of things and the great weather at home helped me enjoy paddling in rougher waters.
